R-0472 Song worked on by Robbie Robertson and Bob
Dylan in the unreleased documentary Eat The Document, from a
Glasgow hotel room in May 1966 (see VHS & DVD 1960s),

Both songs were copyrighted separately by Dwarf Music in 1978, but are really
part of the same work-in-progress, and the titles are used misleadingly. The
song identified as I Can't Leave Her Behind
on the
bonus disc with the DVD release of Martin Scorsese's 2005 documentary "No
Direction Home: Bob Dylan" (see
VHS & DVD 2000s Part 3) is actually the song copyrighted as
On A Rainy Afternoon!

R-0054 Live with the Hawks, Odeon
Theatre, Liverpool, 14 May 1966, B-side
(5:36) of
mono I Want You
7" single,
1966
Fred Muller says the version
on the Columbia/Legacy USA/Europe 36CD set
The 1966 Live Recordings, Nov
2016,
R-1906,
is slightly clipped at the beginning when compared with the versions on Masterpieces and The Band: A Musical History.
This is confirmed by Peter Coulthard and Roger Ford, who say that the first two
bars of the performance on the 1966 mono single and subsequent releases of
R-0054 up to 2016 were spliced in (presumably by Columbia engineers, not tour
engineer Richard Alderson) from the
performance of Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues from the ABC Theatre, Belfast,
Northern Ireland, 6 May 1966! This means that track 8 on CD14 of
The 1966 Live Recordings
is not the same as R-0054, and is now R-1901.
R-0930 Edited version (2:26) of live performance with the Hawks, Odeon Theatre, Liverpool, 14 May 1966, May 1966, B-side (R-0054, 5:36) of mono I Want You single, on mispressed Portuguese EP, 1966
R-1906 Live with The Hawks, Odeon Theatre, Liverpool, 14 May 1966 (6:51), from the Columbia/Legacy USA/Europe 36CD set The 1966 Live Recordings, Nov 2016, extended version of the B-side of mono I Want You single, 1966 (R-0054, 5:41), but with the first two intro bars missing
