This song was originally copyrighted by back-up singer Donna Weiss, who sang it

Michel Montecrossa sets Dylan poems and other text to music, this is the opposite! This version of WIGWAM is the instrumental from "Self Portrait" with Brazilian Portuguese lyrics by Zé Ramalho from his album "Tá Tudo Mudando: Zé Ramalho Canta Bob Dylan" ["Things Have Changed: Zé Ramalho Sings Bob Dylan"] (EMI Music Brazil, 2008)

DON'T YA TELL HENRY

Thanks to Jean-Pol Hiernaux for reminding me that the version on "The Basement Tapes" (Columbia, 1975) is performed by The Band alone with Levon Helm on vocals. A version including Bob was not officially released until The Band's 1972 live album "Rock Of Ages" was reissued in 2001 with 10 bonus tracks, including a previously unreleased performance of DON'T YA TELL HENRY with Bob on guitar and background vocals! An alternate take with Bob on vocals has now been released on CD4 of "The Bootleg Series Vol. 11 - Bob Dylan And The Band: The Basement Tapes Complete", released Nov 2014

Thanks to Bobby Dee Waxman for contacting me in Mar 2003 to tell me that this song released by the Ramones on their album "Subterranean Jungle" (Sire/Warner 23800-2, 1983) is not a Dylan composition, but his! The confusion occurred because his song is copyrighted with Bob's company Special Rider Music. Bobby Dee was at the time a member of a group called the Boyfriends. I've now corrected the entry on the "I" page and removed it from the Covers list above.

First performed live by Johnny Cash on his "Johnny Cash At San Quentin" album (Columbia, 1969), no known Dylan version. It also appears on the 1971 film soundtrack album Little Fauss And Big Halsy with songs by Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins. The Cash/Perkins album is currently available on a "2 on 1" CD with the Johnny Cash album Walk The Line.
