A Tribute To Woody Guthrie Part One
Various Artists - "A Tribute To Woody Guthrie
Part One" - stereo vinyl and tape releases, Columbia/CBS (various catalogue numbers)
(Worldwide), Jan 1972:
Columbia KC 31171 (USA) - front scan by Peter Gilmer
|
Bob's songs were recorded live with The Band,
Carnegie Hall, New York, 20 Jan 1968 (afternoon and evening shows) at
concerts to benefit the US Committee to Combat Huntington's Disease (CCHD). The
third concert was at the Hollywood Bowl on 12 Sep 1970 when Bob was not
present. The original record release was on two separate LPs on different
record labels - R-0064 to R-0067 were on Part One (Columbia), R-0068
was on Part Two (Warner Bros), see below. The order of the songs on
the LPs is not chronological with Carnegie Hall on Part One and
Hollywood Bowl on Part Two - the three shows have been edited into a
"complete performance" so that performances from each appear on each album.
Even though Bob is not credited on the Part Two sleeve, he does
appear on the ensemble song This Land Is
Your Land, although verse 6, which Bob sings, has been edited out of the
released performance, presumably for contractual reasons.
Thanks to Charlie Steiner for scans of the
concert programme for Carnegie Hall, New York, on 20 Jan 1968. This is a typed
letter-sized sheet, and was presumably the same for both the afternoon and
evening shows. The beautiful fold-out 36" x 24"
poster was included only with the earliest US and Canadian copies of both
releases, Columbia KC 31171 (Part One) and Warner Bros BS 2568 (Part Two).
Bob appeared with The Band at Carnegie Hall, New
York, Jan 1968, for three songs, I Ain't Got No Home,
Dear Mrs. Roosevelt and The
Grand Coulee Dam, and also participated in the ensemble finale songs
This Land Is Your Land and
This Train Is Bound For Glory. There was also a show at the Hollywood Bowl, Los Angeles, CA, in 1970, but
Bob did not participate. Highlights from these three shows were released in 1972
on Columbia (Part One with the three afternoon show performances from Bob
and The Band but only a truncated This Train Is Bound For
Glory) and Warner Bros (Part Two with
This Land Is Your Land,
omitting the verse sung by Bob),
with songs from the three shows spread over both releases out of performance
order. As these releases are unsatisfactory and omit Bob and The Band's 1968
evening performances a new complete release of the shows is well overdue. Thanks to Harold Lepidus for information in Dec 2013 that Bill Pagel of
Boblinks fame was working with Nora Guthrie, daughter of Woody, and Bear Family
Records to release all three of the 1968 and 1970 shows of the Tribute To
Woody Guthrie in full. This project appears to have borne some fruit with the
release of the 3CD boxed set
Woody Guthrie: The Tribute Concerts, Bear Family BCD 17329 (Germany), 18 Sep 2017,

Part One (Columbia/CBS) contains:
R-0064 I Ain't Got No
Home (Woody Guthrie) - Bob and The
Band, afternoon show (Side 1, track 6)
This performance also appears on a Columbia US promo EP, see below, as well as
on the Japanese Mr. D's Collection #3
promo CD (see 1993)
and the
Capitol/EMI boxed set The Band: A Musical History (see
2005).
R-0065 Dear Mrs. Roosevelt
(Woody Guthrie)
- Bob and The Band, afternoon show (Side 2, track 3)
R-0066 The Grand Coulee
Dam (Woody Guthrie) - Bob and The Band,
afternoon show (Side 2, track 6)
This track also appears on four 1972 Columbia compilations (listed below on this
page), the Japanese Mr. D's Collection #3
promo CD (see 1993), and is
also available on the 2001 Japanese live compilation Bob
Dylan Live 1961-2000: Thirty Nine Years Of Great Concert Performances,
see 2001.
R-0067 This Train Is
Bound For Glory (adapted Woody Guthrie) - Arlo Guthrie and ensemble, afternoon show (Side 1, track 1)
I misreported this song before - it is truncated to 0:29 on both the original
1972 album and the
1989 single CD release,
with only the Arlo
Guthrie introduction to the song remaining (Side 1 track 1). I thought Bob and The Band
were accompanying Arlo
but the actual song with their vocal contributions (if any) is omitted! Glen Dundas in
"Tangled Up In Tapes" (later published as just "Tangled") attributes this to the
evening show, but Dean Chambers has tapes of both shows and says it is from the
afternoon show. This is supported by Michael Krogsgaard in "Master of the
Tracks", who attributes R-0064 - R-0067 to the afternoon show. See comments
for the 2017 Bear Family boxed set below.
R-0064 and R-0066 are now part
of the 42 rarities included for download with the Aug 2006 Apple iTunes Bob Dylan
Collection, see Online Performances
(Other).
Columbia KC 31171 (USA):
Columbia KC 31171 (USA) - front with timing strip, scan by Manuel García Jara (promo copy) |
As in other countries except Australia
and Israel,
this release has a gatefold sleeve, while the record comes in a picture inner sleeve
with 18 pictures from the concerts. The promo copy shown has a timing strip on the front
of the sleeve but the records have regular commercial Columbia labels (Columbia
had at this time discontinued using white promo labels, although they resumed
them again in the mid 1970s). Two credits details of the rear sleeve are shown
for comparison with the UK and other releases: Bob Dylan and Pete Seeger appear
through the courtesy of Columbia Records, and the songs by Woody Guthrie
are "BMI except where listed". |

- 8-track tape cartridge spine scan by André Wilbers
The tape cartridge is dark red with a single wrap-around label. The copy shown
is missing a slipcase. It comes from the collection of Hans Seegers, now in the
care of Arie de Reus.
There was
a US cassette release for Part Two, but I don't yet have details of a
Part One US cassette release.
Columbia KC 31171 (Canada):

as the US release and has an identical inner sleeve and poster. |

There are, however, several differences from
the US release:
- Canadian copyright text at the bottom of
the rear sleeve
- "LITHO IN
CANADA" on the spine
- There is a pocket on the right hand side
on the inner gatefold sleeve to hold the record
- The Canadian labels still have the
"STEREO/360 SOUND" design, discontinued in the USA, but used in Canada until
this year (the Canadian release of The Music People
below that includes The Grand Coulee Dam taken
from this tribute album also has this design of labels)
Columbia CA 31171 (Canada) - 8-track tape cartridge release:

The tape cartridge is dark red with a single wrap-around
label. It comes in a black slipcase with front and rear cut-outs to show the
cartridge label details. The slipcase was made by Columbia Records of Canada
Ltd. and has English and French text.
CBS 64861 (UK):
CBS 64861 (UK) - front of gatefold sleeve, scan by Manuel García Jara |
The UK CBS release also comes in a gatefold sleeve with a
picture inner sleeve, printed in England by Shorewood Packaging Co. Ltd. The same two credits details of the rear sleeve are
shown for comparison with the US release: here Bob Dylan and Pete Seeger appear
through the courtesy of CBS Records, and the BMI credit for the songs
by Woody Guthrie is missing. The record has orange CBS labels.
A CBS UK 1974-75 Catalogue owned by Ronald Born lists
the LP release, CBS 64861, but not a cassette or 8-track release, so these
may not have existed. |

This
album was also released with a gatefold sleeve and an inner sleeve with
pictures of the artists. The sleeve was printed in Holland and the outside
is laminated. The front has a similar but different logo from that of the
UK release, with "S 64861" instead of just "64861". There is also a small
"B" in a white circle at top right of the rear sleeve. Bob Dylan and Pete Seeger appear
through the courtesy of CBS Records,
but unlike the UK sleeve, the rear still has the text "All songs by WOODY
GUTHRIE are BMI except where noted". The copyright text at the bottom of the
rear sleeve is also different from that of the UK release. The record was
made in Holland and has orange CBS labels with the Dutch "STEMRA" logo.
Curiously, the label designs of Side 1 and Side 2 are different: Side 1 has
the tracklist in continuous text, but on Side 2 the tracks have separate
lines. Copies with other label variants may exist. |

CBS/Sony in Japan released Part One twice,
first in early 1974 with a red obi with price ¥2,000 and secondly in late
1974/early 1975 with a silver obi with price ¥2,200. Both releases have a
card picture inner sleeve and a four-page insert in English and Japanese. The

the commercial copy shown is the second release and has orange/cream
CBS/Sony labels (the first release commercial labels are the same).

CBS 64861 (Israel)
- front scan by Manuel García Jara |
Like the Australian
release, the rare Israeli release of this charity album has a single, not a
gatefold sleeve, and does not include an insert with pictures. The sleeve is
laminated on the front only. It has the same front as the UK release with an
identical CBS logo, but the rear sleeve is unique to Israel: it has no
photo, but includes the liner notes that other albums have on the inner
gatefold, plus the tracklist and credits. The rear sleeve has two white
folded-over flaps. This must be an error because the usual text
"Manufactured and distributed in Israel..." may be hidden by the bottom
white flap. Bob Dylan appears through the courtesy of CBS
Records, and the BMI credit for the songs by Woody Guthrie is again missing.
The record was made in Israel and has orange CBS labels. |

A Tribute To Woody Guthrie Part Two

Two" - stereo
vinyl and tape releases,
Warner Bros (various catalogue numbers) (Worldwide), Apr
1972:
Marjorie Guthrie from the inner sleeve front of Part One - scan by
Manuel García Jara |
The three page letter with the CCHD logo (Committee to Combat Huntington's Disease) is
dated April 1970 and it is signed by Marjorie Guthrie, Woody's widow. She
talks about the foundation of CCHD and about the next concert at the
Hollywood Bowl. These were concerts to benefit CCHD and these releases
were charity albums, released not long after the other great charity album
of 1972, The Concert For Bangladesh. They were released with the
help of two of the most important record labels, Columbia and Warner Bros. For this
reason, each album has an advertisement for the
other release on the rear of the outer gatefold sleeve. Also, the shared poster
(see above) has both logos, Columbia and Warner Bros.

Part Two
(Warner Bros) contains:
R-0068 This Land Is
Your Land (Woody Guthrie)
- Odetta and Arlo Guthrie with ensemble including Bob and The Band, afternoon show
Bob is present on guitar throughout the song and sings verse 6. However, the
released performance is faded out before verse 6!
This may be because the
contractual arrangement between Columbia and Warner Bros did not allow Bob to
appear explicitly on the Part Two album. It's also noticeable that
although the members of The Band, who were signed to Capitol, are listed on
the rear sleeve, Bob is only listed as having been present on Part One,
which was released by Columbia Records.

and price ¥2,000 on the rear. The inside gatefold is identical to
that of the CBS release but it has the catalogue number printed at top right. The obi is golden with black and white text on front, but rear is
white with
Warner Bros information. There is a 12" 6-page insert with lyrics and information.
- The inner sleeve is identical to that of other worldwide Warner releases, different from the inner sleeve of
Part One
with different artists. The record shown is a promo and has blue Warner Bros

A Tribute To Woody Guthrie Parts One
and Two
Various Artists - "A
Tribute To Woody Guthrie Parts One & Two", promotional 2LP set, CBS/Sony
SOPL-29/Warner-Pioneer P-8202W (Japan), 1974:
These records were
separately released by two different companies, but this extremely rare release
is the only one with those two albums packaged together. It is a promotional only set,
and it was never commercially released at that time (a 2LP set was released by
Warner Bros in the USA and elsewhere from 1976 onwards).
This promo 2LP set includes a folder
with two flaps on the inside to hold the albums, the two volumes of the
Tribute
to Woody Guthrie and two promotional sheets. The folder is black,
made of good textured paper. The outside of this folder has titles of both
volumes and companies logos in silver text and in relief; on the inside there
are two flaps, again with titles and logos. There are two separate A-4 promo
sheets with typed Japanese text: one for CBS/Sony (two pages) and another for Warner
(three pages).
The first volume,
A
Tribute To Woody Guthrie, Part One (CBS/Sony
SOPL-29),
is identical to the promo copy shown above, with a first release red obi, the picture inner
sleeve, the 12" 4-page insert and a record with promo white and black CBS/Sony
labels.
The second volume, A Tribute To Woody Guthrie, Part
Two (Warner-Pioneer P-8202W),
is identical to the promo copy shown above, including the
obi, the picture inner sleeve, the 12" 6-page insert and a record with promo
blue Warner Bros labels.
Thanks to Manuel García Jara for
information and scans.

Warner Bros/Hispavox 500-193/4 (Spain) - front

García Jara |
This double album was manufactured in Spain in 1977
by Hispavox for Warner Bros. This set, titled Homenaje A Woody Guthrie on the
spine, lengüeta (languette) and record labels, is actually Tribute To Woody Guthrie Parts One &
Two. Part One was released in Spain by CBS in 1972 (see above), but, as far
as Manuel knows, Part Two was never released in Spain by Warner Bros. as in other countries.
The outer gatefold sleeve is laminated - it has the usual
worldwide design but it has copyright text in Spanish at bottom of rear. There
is an error - it says "599-193 (Caras A & B) and 500-194 (Cara B)" instead of
"(Caras C & D)". The sleeve
has a languette ("lengüeta" in Spanish). Although the languette
is typical of French records, these "tabs for sales control" were very
common in
Spanish records, even though they were never used for CBS records. Unlike in
France, lengüetas were used in Spain for albums also, e.g. the first Spanish
release
of Before The Flood.

The record labels still have the Warner Bros. Burbank Palm Tree design, some months

see 1978). On the Side 2 label The Grand
Coulee Dam is misprinted as "The Grand Coulle
Dam".

This set has an unlaminated gatefold sleeve with the
usual design on the outside and inside. The rear has copyright text at the
bottom and the catalogue number at top right. The record labels still have the
Warner Bros. Burbank Palm Tree design. The copyright date is "1972" on Sides 2
and 4 and "1976" on Sides 1 and 3, but these compilations were not released in
Europe before 1977; e.g. Tusk (Fleetwood Mac, 1979) is "WB 66 088" and
The Last Waltz (The Band, 1978) is "WB 66 076". The catalogue numbers used
by Warner Bros. in Germany (the headquarters of Warner Bros. in Europe) were
"WB" plus five digits starting with "5" (WB 5_ _ _ _) for single albums and "WB"
plus five digits starting with "6" ("WB 6 _ _ _ _") for double or triple albums.

Various Artists - "Playback" - 7" stereo EP, Columbia AS 31
(USA), 1972:
Columbia AS 31 (USA) - front of booklet, scan by Hans Seegers |
This stereo EP is available in two sleeve variations, one has seven occurrences of
"Playback" on both sides, the other has only six on the reverse. It came with a four page insert, a 16-page booklet, a feedback form and a pre-paid
envelope to send the form back to Columbia.
Hans Seegers says "In
the early 1970s Columbia set up an experimental programme called 'Playback'. For
the first time in their recording history they were going to ask their consumers
to help them select what sounds and which records were worth pursuing and
promoting. For $3.00 consumers could join this programme and would receive at
least ten 7-inch, 33 rpm samplers a year containing unreleased or just-released
songs. After listening to each sampler they were to let Columbia know what music
turned them on or off. The samplers came together with newsletters featuring
articles written by and about producers and recording artists. Only one EP
containing a track by Bob Dylan was released in this series and came with the
'Playback' standard sleeve."

This
second copy once belonged to the Hudson High School (which Hudson High School I
do not know). There is an envelope with three library cards on the inside of the
gatefold sleeve. Apart from these details, the artwork is identical to the copy
above. This copy still has the original inner sleeves, dated 1972; as well as
some stamped text of the Hudson High School Media Center and some information
about Bob Johnston as producer of one of the bands, there is an
interesting subscription form with information about the brand new "Playback"
series of Columbia Record Club: the Dylan track included in this compilation was
also included in an EP of the Playback series, released also in 1972 (see
above). The most important difference from the other copy shown is the record
labels: they are very different in style. The record labels have shaped white
"Hudson High School Media Center" labels plus a square label with library
catalogue numbers on Sides 1, 3 and 5.
These compilations were released in USA,
Canada, UK, Holland, Yugoslavia, Denmark and in Spain, and are similar but not
identical. There were several variations of title, catalogue number, sleeves,
number of records and even in the tracklist.
4 DIFFERENT TITLES: The Music People
(USA, Canada and UK); Welcome The Rock People (Holland & Yugoslavia);
The Music People Vols. 1, 2 & 3 (Denmark) and The Music People 1970-1973
(Spain)
6 DIFFERENT CATALOGUE NUMBERS:
Columbia C3X 31280 (USA & Canada); CBS 66315 (UK);
CBS S 66308 (Holland) CBS/Suzy S 66308 (Yugoslavia);
CBSMF 1/2/3 (Denmark) and without reference in Spain.
4 DIFFERENT FRONTS: The "clouds in
the sky" design (USA, Canada & UK); "lips and tongue"
design (Holland & Yugoslavia); Danish and Spanish versions have exclusive
and different designs of front.
3 DIFFERENT SLEEVES: Tri-fold
sleeve (USA, Canada, UK & Holland); gatefold sleeve
(Yugoslavia & Spain) and single sleeve (Denmark)
3 DIFFERENT NUMBER OF RECORDS: 3LP
set in all countries, except in Denmark, released as three
separate volumes, and in Spain, as a single and promo only
album.
4 DIFFERENT TRACKLISTS: The purpose of
this album was to include international artists, repeated in all releases, and
other artists (mostly local artists), only included in some compilations. The
Spanish tracklist (a single album) obviously is different: 12 tracks,
six international and six Spanish artists. It doesn't includes Bob,. The other compilations have 40 tracks by 40 artists (28
of them are in all releases) and all these albums include
The Grand Coulee Dam by Bob Dylan with The Band, taken from the album
Tribute To Woody Guthrie (1972). There are three different tracklists with
this Dylan rarity: the US tracklist
(released in USA and Canada), the Dutch tracklist (released in Holland/West
Germany,
Yugoslavia and Denmark) and the UK tracklist
(exclusive for the UK).

The UK release has a tri-fold sleeve. The front and rear of the sleeve have the
US "clouds in the
sky" design. The front has the title in white but, unlike the US version, the artist
list is in black; the rear has the title in white and tracklist in black.
Like the US release, this sleeve
has four grey panels with information about the tracklist. The UK release has exclusive
"The Music People" green inner sleeves. The records have orange
CBS labels.
The tracklist has 28 artists included in all compilations: there are four
exclusive artists (Arrival, Al Stewart, Lesley Duncan and Jonathan Swift); three
artists included here and on the US release, but not on the Dutch tracklist
(Jake Holmes, Jimmie Spheeris and Wayne Cochran); five artists included here and
on the Dutch release, but not on the US tracklist (Niemen; Fishbaugh, Fishbaugh
and Zorn; Home, Argent and Titanic) However, the track performed by Argent is Hold Your Head Up in the UK release and
Closer To Heaven in the Dutch album; the track by Titanic is also
different - Underbird (UK) but Hanging Over in
the Dutch compilation.

Various Artists - "The Music People
1970-1973" - promo stereo vinyl LP, CBS (no catalogue number) (Spain), 1972:
The most
noticeable feature is the text printed on the inner gatefold; it says in big
letters that this album was published to celebrate two facts: the third
anniversary of CBS in Spain and the opening of the pressing plant of CBS in
Alcorcón, near to Madrid; this pressing plant was at the time the most advanced
pressing plant of CBS in Europe with a capacity of 6 million records per year.
This pressing plant was opened by Peter de Rougemont (CBS International vice
president in charge of European operations) and Max Wyngaard (director for
Spain, Switzerland and Austria). Peter de Rougemont says in this text that the
Spanish pressing plant has capacity for Spain and for export records to Europe
"quickly and made of high quality". After of this date several records came to
Holland with "MADE IN SPAIN" on the labels, with the same typeface as the
Spanish record labels but with the "STEMRA" (Dutch copyright organisation) logo.

The Dutch release again has a tri-fold
sleeve. The front has a "lips and tongue" design, possibly a parody of the
Rolling Stones logo; the rear is white with the tracklist. This sleeve also has
four grey panels with information about the tracklist. There are two variants of
the front sleeve: one has the title in violet (the most usual); the second
variant, the rarest, has the title in black. The Dutch album was also sold in
France and in West Germany and has German text on the rear sleeve as well as "NL
Printed in Holland". One copy
shown was bought in Germany and has a price sticker (DM 25). The records
have orange CBS labels.
The tracklist has: 28 artists included
in all compilations; two exclusive artists (Cane & Able; Emergency). The Dutch
tracklist was used also in the Yugoslav and Danish releases. For other
differences between the Dutch and UK/US tracklists, see the entries for these
releases above.

the first published by CBS itself). It uses the
same tracklist, title and front as the Dutch release, although the sleeve
was made in Yugoslavia by Suzy Records of Zagreb (now Croatia) and the records were pressed by Helidon
of Ljubljana (now Slovenia). This
release had a standard folded gatefold sleeve (not tri-fold like other releases).
The front is
identical to the Dutch album, but the rear is completely different with images of a
concert in blue and pink colours. The inside of the gatefold sleeve is also exclusive
to this
release. The panel on the left has a blue monochrome picture collage and the panel on
the right
is white with the title, tracklist and copyright text in red. The records have
orange CBS labels with the logo of the Yugoslav copyright organisation "SAKOJ".
The album title on the record labels is "Welcome To The Rock People".
Dr. Hanns Peter Bushoff
has a single LP release with just Record 1 with the title Hard
Rock Album 1. The rear sleeve of the
album is blank. The record labels are the same as shown. Presumably Records 2
and 3 were also released in this form, but they have no Dylan content.
Thanks to Manuel García Jara and
Dr. Hanns Peter Bushoff for information
and scans.
Various Artists - "The Music People Vols. 1-3" - 3LP set, CBS
CBSMF 1-3
(Denmark), 1972:
CBSMF 1 (Denmark) -
front scan by Manuel García Jara |
The very rare Danish
edition of this compilation was released in three
separate volumes, which may have been sold separately as well as together in a
set. The records were made in Holland and are identical to the Dutch ones above. For this
reason, this compilation has the Dutch tracklist and the record labels have the Dutch title
(Welcome The Rock People)
and catalogue number CBS S 66308. The sleeves were made in Denmark and printed by Quick
Offset A-S. Surprisingly, these sleeves have a different title and catalogue
number from the record labels: The Music People Vol. 1 (CBSMF 1),
The Music People Vol. 2 (CBSMF
2) and The Music People Vol. 3 (CBSMF 3). The
front picture by well-known Danish artist Peder
Bundgaard is identical for the three volumes but the background colour is
different: green (Vol. 1), violet (Vol. 2) and orange (Vol. 3).
Each rear
sleeve has two folded-over flaps and each one has the complete tracklist of the compilation, but
the tracklist of each volume is marked with a box of the same colour as the front and with the
text "Denne plader indeholder: [This record includes:]". There is more Danish
text at the bottom; translated by Google as: "Three records and over two
hours of music
with
the most important artists".
The three records come in generic white inner sleeves, each with sticker showing the
tracklist of each record and the text "Music Folket" (The Music People)
and another photo from Peder Bundgard.
Thanks to Manuel García Jara for information
and scans.

International Album Releases (Various Artist Compilations) 1970s. This volume
includes The Grand Coulee
Dam (R-0066) from A Tribute To Woody Guthrie Part One (see above)

detail of CD rear insert
The 1989 Warner Bros 27 track single CD reissue omits three songs from the double album
but the three Dylan/Band songs and two ensemble tracks remain. The CD release has a
stapled 12-page booklet as the front insert. The text on the rear insert is
printed vertically, so it's shown here on its side.
Thanks to Anssi Sallmen and Gerd Rundel
for details of their CDs, which come in the same packaging as mine. There is one
small difference in the bottom text - their CDs were manufactured by JVC, whereas my
CD was manufactured by WEA. Both CD variants were made in the USA but the JVC CD must be
the first release. My copy was bought in New York in 1998.
This CD was re-released by Rhino Records/Warner
Bros with the same artwork in 2005 - detailed scans required.

This 3CD boxed set contains two books in a card
slipcase, the first one with pockets for the discs on the inside rear. The 1968 and
1970 concerts are now ordered chronologically, so that all three of Bob's songs
with The Band from the 1968 New York afternoon concert are together on CD1,
with the opening ensemble song This Train Is Bound For Glory
(which is still sadly truncated, this time at 1:16, again with any possible
contribution from Bob omitted) at the start of CD1 and the closing ensemble
song
This Land Is Your Land at the end of CD1 (also
still not in full).

The 1970 Hollywood Bowl concert is on both CD2 and CD3,
with material not released on the original 1972 releases including new 1970
ensemble versions without Bob of
This Train Is Bound For Glory and
This Land Is Your Land. There is no new 1968
material, and the extra 1970
material does not include any Dylan contributions, as he was not present.
Alan Hoaksey adds that CD3 includes Last Thoughts On
Woody Guthrie (7:07) from
the Town Hall, New York, 12 Apr 1963, released on
The Bootleg Series Vols. 1-3, 1991. Manfred Helfert says that from the
interviews included with this set, it appears that Bob and The Band were let
into the hall through a side entrance just before their set, so could not have
participated on This Train Is Bound For Glory! I
have therefore delisted R-0067.
Thanks to Harold Lepidus, Jacques Colinet, Keith
Venturoni, Alan Hoaksey, Manfred Helfert and Jack from Canada for information. More will be
added when available.
