Digging through the many, many Dylan covers released in the late '80s to find the ones that sound the MOST '80s, turning Bob tunes into post-punk goth, hair metal, and Run-DMC style hip-hop.

Today we journey back to 1986 to explore some of the many old-time-rock-and-roll covers Bob Dylan performed while on tour with his big-name backing band Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers (and don't forget the Queens of Rhythm!). Exploring largely songs they grew up with, they tackle everything from Ricky Nelson to "House of the Rising Sun" to a song in Japanese.
